Almost 5 months ago [omg 5 months really??!] I married my best friend in our backyard. We took all the planning into our own hands and decided to embark on the adventure that is planning a wedding at your own home. It.was.so.fun. I know you must think I’m crazy, who would want to host a wedding of nearly 100 people in your back yard? This girl. It had a lot to do with where we live and the its unique setting and what we found for venues. Everything was either way out of budget or just not us and wouldn’t give us the freedom we wanted that hosting it at home would. With our landlords blessing we planned and executed the most perfect [for us] wedding day.
